Board 8 > MWC talks about the worst called games in sports history (with your suggestions)

This came about because I wanted to talk about how much the Wolverines we're screwed against the City College Cardinals in 2013, but, the NCAA is on a vacate that one anyway. Granted, I had many more to speak
of, and will do so on this topic. Feel free to nominate some yourself, and I'll try to find the game and watch it and rank it too.

Please note that if the team got screwed ended up winning the game/series it won't be put here, so eggregious games like game 4 of the 2017 NBA finals won't be ranked, or Indiana Duke 2002.

The NBA (being that it is for all intents and purposes rigged since 1985....) leads the way by a mile here.

Of the major sports, the MLB has the least (just one) LITERALLY even getting edged by NASCAR which has 2.

Yeah. I probably should have made a rule on that. Unless it directly altered a World Cup, I can't do soccer, there would be thousands with the level of incompetence in officiating.

Like any soccer game beats any other pro sport. Especially if you're saying the whole game instead of a single call. Though any single replacement ref game comes close. It doesnt have to be the seahawks packers one you just remember the single egregious end of game one

The worst called mlb plays in recent memory are the infield fly rule from cards braves playoffs, the galarraga perfect game blown call, and the pirates braves 20 inning game where the brave dude was called safe at home when he was clearly out, I forget who.


Going back further it's definitely Jeffrey Maier.
And further yet and probable winner the royals winning the 1985 world series because of the blatantly wrong don dekinger call at first base.

You could make a case for the George brett pine tar incident too, in his mind anyway
