I killed Kenny.

Honestly, I had been wanting to do it ever since the beginning of episode 4 when he bizarrely blamed Clementine for his dumb girlfriend's death. I was on his side completely until he was such a dickface about that.

The season is not as good as the first one. I am not even sure if it is good. It does a very poor job of giving even the illusion of choice. I feel like far more than the first game, many of the decisions you make do not matter at all, even from the very first choice with "saving" Christa. There are so many "major" decisions that literally change not a single thing in the story except maybe a single line of dialogue.

Back to Kenny, I read a bit and was surprised that so many people preferred him to Jane. He was totally nuts ever since that baby was born. Everything he did was so irrational or self-serving that I wanted nothing to do with him. The game telegraphed from the moment Clem gets shot that I was going to have to choose him or Jane. It was super easy and I couldn't wait to dispatch him. The ending I got was Clementine with Jane and that family at Howe's. I guess there are many different endings depending on how you handle that last chapter.

The Arvo thread was dumb. I didn't rob him, and stuck up for him every chance I got, and he still shoots me for no reason. Why on earth would someone give him a gun? That whole part made zero sense. And speaking of Mike/Arvo/Bonnie, do they die? I don't think that was made clear during my playthrough. They simply are not there after the gunshot.

I liked episode 3 a lot. The story with Carver was good and he was fun to take down. The 400 days characters are wasted, though. I don't get why they had Bonnie be a main character when she was by far the least interesting of them from that DLC. I much rather would have seen Shel, Vince, or Russell.

Tried to help Christa
Let the dog bleed out
Went with the old guy at the end of episode 1
Helped Walter forgive Nick
I talked Kenny down from getting Alvin killed
I watched him murder Carver
I cut off Sarita's hand
I left Sarah in the mobile home(fuck Sarah)
Didn't rob Arvo
Killed Rebecca
Covered Luke with the gun and fell through the ice to try to save him(don't get my started at how unrealistic that part was!)
Went with Jane in the end

So, ask me anything else, or I'd love to hear your thoughts about the game. I'm not really aware of how other people took it or what the general opinion is on it.

So I have a weird love/hate thing with Kenny where I thought he was wrong and crazy but think he's a fantastic character anyway. I really enjoyed Season 2 for his storyline and Season 2 I thought was more depressing than Season 1.

Kenny was a rabid dog by that point that needed to be put down, but Jane wasn't much better. I didn't trust either one of them. Left her alone and me and the baby hit the road.

I wouldn't say I am "Team Jane" but it made sense to stay with her. I knew that Clementine would be alone with the baby and I thought her chances would be better with someone who could help take care of things. If that baby had any chance of living its not with a pre-teen girl as his sole caregiver.

Jane is a survivor and it felt safe to stay with her. Plus she taught Clem how to easily kill walkers which nobody else in the game seemed to have any idea how to do.

I get people saying Kenny went off the deep end, and he did. He did not handle losing his second family well at all.

But Jane literally made someone think that a baby died in order to make them snap in order to make Clementine kill them. That is so far beyond anything Kenny did or said.

Plus Kenny redeems himself in the Wellington ending.

There was no way at that point to really know what Jane had done, so yeah. I wasn't about to let him stick a knife in someone's head because he had a vague idea something really bad might have happened

And then I ditched Jane too because fuck Jane

Bonnie was made a main character because in 400 Days regardless of your choices she will always join the settlement, unlike the other characters.

Are you sure you don't have that backwards? She was likely already written to be a character in season 2 when they made that decision

Wellington>Kenny>Jane>Solo imo

In regards to the whole encounter, Jane was the one who started it. Her plan essentially boiled down to

"Hey Clem watch me antagonize an already on edge man by saying one of the only things he had left to cling to (the baby) was dead just to prove a point that he'd lose his shit if he heard that! See Clem, he tried to hit me! See how fucking crazy he is!?"

It was pretty stupid
