Don't think so. The change is permanent, if she stills I. AM TUROK. she doesn't delete the merc either. You just can't switch away from what you previously had.

Passive means you don't get a choice (like Mewtwo said). So yeah, should be rolled.

Because the ability doesn't have to be there to have a persistent effect. It just has to be used. Turok doesn't need I. AM TUROK to stay in his form, for instance. His battle writeup is what it is.

(Also, this matters because by this interp, once Jeezy switches Yuffie to one of the goddesses, he gets 'em permanently as 3/weeks, as Sell-Out is unneeded. So this works in Tom's favor, but also Jeezy's.)

would be more of a gray area if there weren't explicitly another ability

That's not how it works

a Form Switch can be permanent or temporary - having the ability doesn't change the duration. Like, Liquid needs to become the REX every week because it lasts for the week. K7 stays as whichever Smith if you pick because they don't have to reselect. The ability's duration is what matters, not the ability itself.
