valefor i can beat, probably. i just need to cast auto-life for his energy ray attack that breaks the damage limit. that's fine.

but i just fought bahamut, and his NORMAL attacks like break the damage limit already and do 99,999. how do you beat that?

Zanmato ignores resistance to instant death for whatever reason. I'm not 100% sure, but I think it works on literally every boss and enemy in the game.

A quick google search tells me Sin's Head is the only boss immune to it... For whatever reason.

Zanmato isn't guaranteed, even if you pay an absurd amount of money. Though paying more obviously increases the odds of him using it.

The best odds if you haven't been using Yojimbo in the past is somewhere in the realm of 500,000,000 to get the best odds.

The more you use Yojimbo though the more he likes you (assuming you are giving him money) and the more likely he'll be to use Zanmato.

also, what? i summoned yojimbo and he IMMEDIATELY used makizashi. i didn't have any option to pay him or get rid of him. it was just summon, attack.

Trying to beat Dark Yojimbo with zanmato is practically useless considering you have to beat him 5 times. My go-to strategy more or less boils down to this:

Maxed out stats.
Have stoneproof
Get the highest + defence on your armor. This will result in the multi character attack (wakazashi?) going below 9999 damage.
Cast hastega
Cast aim as much as you possibly can.
Use a summon whenever Yojimbo attacks.
Use quick attack.

It works for you too. They have all the same attacks as you.

my animas pain doesn't instakill her, so

no damage numbers come up.

also, i know most the monsters were reskinned, but what's the deal with that slug thing? i've never seen it before, only there. where is the non-reskinned version of it?

i'm gonna go get the magus sisters, then go beat dark anima, yojimbo, and the sisters and then it'll be penace.

Grinding M.Def spheres was a nightmare.

So goddamn boring, and is filling up the entire grid with every character. There should have been a "Activate everything i have" button, instead of having to remove/reactivate 200 some nodes per character
