Does something religious like put scripture on cop cars, the ten commandments at Town Hall, a big cross on the side of the interstate, etc....

It doesn't even say "separation of church and state" in the constitution, it says "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof"

I'm against the government showing bias to one religion or another, I just don't get the go to argument of "separation of church and state" and that's all they say

tbh, the wiki page for this is a good explanation

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Separation_of_church_and_state_in_the_United_States

"Separation of church and state" is paraphrased from Thomas Jefferson and used by others expressing an understanding of the intent and function of the Establishment Clause and Free Exercise Clause of the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States which reads: "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof..."
