19 y/o Monalisa Perez from Minnesota is charged with shooting her boyfriend of 5 years DEAD after they tried to perform a youtube stunt gone wrong!!

She shot 22 y/o Pedro Ruiz III in the chest with a .50-caliber Desert Eagle Pistol on Monday while their 3 y/o daughter WATCHED!!

She fled the house screaming and later said the book was supposed to stop the bullet in a bid to create a viral video

Prior to the shooting she tweeted that they were going to shoot one of the most dangerous videos ever and that it was HIS idea.

She was supposed to fire a large caliber handgun at a hardcover encyclopedia being held bu Ruiz outside their home at 630pm..she said she fired the fatal shot while stood just a foot away from him and said it was his own plan and that he showed her another book that successfully stopped the bullet.

This time however it penetrated the volume and killed him..his death was captured all on 2 cameras that was set up as police say they don't plan to release it.

She called 911 as EMT's attempted chest compressions on Ruiz but couldn't save him..

Their 3 y/o daughter, Aaliyah was present and Monalisa is STILL Pregnant with their 2nd child..she is now charged with 2nd degree manslaughter

Pedro's Aunt, Claudia told her nephew not to do it and why he was using a gun and he replied "Because we want more viewers. We want to get famous"

Claudia wish they hadn't done this as they were madly in love and the birth of their children was proof of that..

Ruiz was an employee of BNSF Railway who was going to be a foreman to support his family

If convicted, She would face a maximum of 10 years in prison or a fine of 20,000 or both

Do you think she deserves prison?.

Yes, but certainly not that long of a sentence if it was accidental (given that she has a daughter and another on the way, who are already going to suffer from the loss of the dad). If nothing else, it'll keep her from having a third baby for a while.

Also yes she deserves prison because of her stupidity. Doesn't matter if she's pregnant. She's now left her kid and soon to be kids fatherless due to her stupid actions. Sure they both performed the stunt but she pulled the trigger.
