The Rockies suck butt

My mom is watching Stranger Things and she took the BuzzFeed quiz for which character are you and got Dustin. I got Jonathan when I took it.

I was doing a quiz earlier and one of the questions was "pick a show" and there were 8 currently popular shows listed that I realized I never saw and I realized how far removed I am from that whole aspect of society. When people talk about shows I usually have nothing to contribute.

The Cubs are going to blow the Rockies out of the water for the second half of the season and make the playoffs and win the World Series again and the world will continually being generally terrible

I don't really think there are that many great shows going these days but I still watch a lot of TV. I also forget about Netflix shows constantly because you can watch them all in a few days and then not see them again for a year or more. Stranger Things is probably my favorite Netflix show I guess.

It's always good​to see a tweet from @Cardinals like "Pham makes great catch in loss to Pirates" and it was like 15-2.

Yeah the Brewers do that as well on their facebook page. Nationals just hit their 4th home run in a row against Blazek, can't wait to see what positive spin they will try when talking about this game.

I just went to Carl's Jr. for lunch and had this ridiculously huge burger. It was good, but damn, no wonder America is still so fat. I was tempted to see how awful the Green Burrito stuff was, but even good Mexican food didn't sound good to me today, so I didn't try it.

I ate there about a week ago too. Carl's Jr.'s aren't very common around here but I just moved near one. Sometimes when I move to a new place I'll go to a restaurant a bunch just because it's uncommon and I wanna get a lot of visits in, not necessarily because I like it that much.

BTW I hate the enlarged text in the post box because I can't tell how big my post is without previewing it now and it makes me feel like I'm yelling

Hardee's is pretty good. I don't go very often but I like it fine. Wendy's is my go to for a fast food burger.

Broncos training camp has started, which means that basically no other sports exist to the media around here. I get that they've earned the reputation that they're better than all the other franchises in town, but I swear I'm gonna kill someone if I hear another thing about whether Trevor Siemian or Paxton Lynch will be helming the upcoming 8-8 season

My first trips to America were to Florida. Shortly after I went to New Orleans. I really liked the Saints but for some reason haven't felt as strongly about Benson's other team. I root for the Heat but I'm not very passionate about it.

Jose Altuve is hitting .506 in July. Can he hit .500 for the month? The odds are against him but yes he can do it.

I like my Switch, but jeez does it need some games. This thing would be perfect for VC, but I'm not sure at this point if we'll ever get it. Super Mario Odyssey is going to be awesome, but it's going to be like BotW where I play the shit out of it for a few weeks then not want to touch it again for a long time.

I have a bunch of Wii (U) games I need to play, but no good spot to hook it up right now. Even in TV mode the Switch is so much more convenient.

Splatoon just came out, buy that it's probably good

It looks like a fun multiplayer game, but I don't really have any friends who like playing Nintendo games. I skipped out on the last SSB for mainly that reason

I'm holding out for portable Stardew Valley

Anybody watching jones vs Cormier?

I know none of you are into it, but I've been tempted by Minecraft lately. That's the type of gameplay that is perfect for portable (i.e. short bursts) but that you can also really sit down and play for a while.

But on the other hand, it's also just a huge time sink that I've played a lot on PC already. I might hold out til I clear more of my backlog, and for a possible physical release (although it's less than 1 GB)

Interesting tidbit from today's Rockies game: Pat Neshek debuted for the Rockies and Howie Kendrick debuted for the Nationals. They both were former teammates on the Phillies. It would have been especially cool if they faced each other directly (I wonder if that's ever happened with two former teammates making debuts on opposing teams), but it's still probably a pretty rare thing that they played the same game at all

I just remembered Sonic Mania comes out soon! Fuck yeah, first great Sonic game since...well, you know.

Remember how Neshek would fall over and throw from a weird angle? How does a guy even start doing that? How strange.
