Just wondering. Not only do I generally find women boring when they talk to me, they also seem to be talking about the most boring things when I overhear them talking to each other. What do you think?

I find people in general to be pretty boring. 9 times out of 10 a chick is cool because she had a cool boyfriend at some point in her life. The other 1 out of 10 the chick is either ugly or used to be.

The problem is gender roles. most of the time specially in conservative families their parents always keep telling them to stop playing harsh sports, stop playing video-games or stop doing things that are not ladylike, and also peer pressure for them to fit society's standards

countless of my cousins and nieces grew up from girls who enjoyed soccer, videogames, geek movies etc into the typical boring woman whit no hobies who spends all the time on Facebook.

My wife agrees whit this. While men continue growing whuile enjoying their hobbies, many women are told stuff like 'why do you do that that's a man's hobbie'

I find women boring that only want to talk about shopping and television shows and men boring who only want to talk about sports. It is the personalities and interests that I find boring.

My go to example is how one time I asked a chick here in Korea "When was the last time you had fun?" she answered with "I don't know" and it was just the worst conversation ever. Most girls are seriously boring as fuck even if they're otherwise nice and well-meaning people. Despite having some cool female friends I don't think I'd make the effort to consistently talk to women if I were gay or asexual.

People in general are pretty boring, when you're introverted like we are.

I mean yea if I hung out in a bar or mall and tried to strike up a conversation with a random woman then she would probably be pretty boring to me because that is not the type of people I like talking to. If I see a girl in the comic or game shop then she is probably not going to be nearly as boring (unless she is just a weebo).

These. It is hard to find interest in anyone if you can't relate to said person. I could talk about video games with some friends and they'll be bored. With another group of friends and we could talk for a few hours. I could flip that around and change the subject to beer or camping and the situation would be reversed.

I think women can get away with being boring, but maybe that just says something about the men they interact with. For example, men almost never challenge women on their claims to geeky interests the way they challenge other men, so perhaps that results in a lot of "fake" female geeks, but is it really their fault?

I imagine the same kind of thing would occur if you had guys interested in say, fashion, interacting with women. But that doesn't happen as much because those guys are either gay or afraid of being perceived as gay.

On that note, men are boring too. I think they get into more depth with their interests than women do, but women are more willing to branch out and have a higher number of interests. Women on average also don't spend as much time at home living a sedentary lifestyle.

It could be the environment in which you interact with women. If you're in the office at work there are certain things you don't talk about so you're left with the boring things to talk about

That's really not accurate at all. The men challenge women to prove their interest thing is so common it has been written about and discussed many times. You don't hear men being called fake whatever. Women don't define themselves by what media they consume nearly as much. You can enjoy things without becoming encyclopedic about them. It's more about how you relate to things rather than what you've memorized.

I hate to say it, but this is too accurate. I mean, I've tried to deny it for as long as I could. But the more I've actually talked with women, the more I realize this. Of course you'll get it with men, too. But it just seems to be more difficult finding a woman who can contribute to a conversation. I can ask them about their day or their plans. Make jokes or try to talk about specific topics. But they just seem to react and not contribute. And this isn't just me invading their space or striking a conversation out of nowhere either. This is every store clerk who tries to make small talk during check out.

I mean, I'll freely admit that I can be pretty boring as well. But I'll at least try to put in an effort when I'm talking with someone. I just wish I knew where to find all these incredibly interesting and funny women everyone likes to talk about...

Wrong. Men get called out for being posers by people in the fandom often enough. Women in fandoms tend to find themselves between two camps of thought. One where they get called out for something they claim to be a huge fan of but don't know shit about other then its trendy. The other is a group of males will orbit them and overlook their shit because they're starved of female attention.

If your going to be a fan of something you should always be trying to learn as much of it as you can. That way you can hold a half decent conversation about the subject you enjoy.

I find most people boring man or woman. The only difference is I've actually got to get into a woman's knickers one day if I ever want a family of my own. I'm doubtful this will ever happen though because I'm... well me and I can't be arsed to make the effort with people.

they have like 2 friends and a couple family members and all of a sudden they're the voice of reason about any topic, because their parents listened to the beach boys or whatever in 1960 lol
I also find that theyre the most apathetic to other people and would rather chastise you behind your back then confront you and have a normal conversation
men grow up to be this way so you have gang stalkers, pessimist and jealous whiney people around you 24/7

this girl I dated used to tell me america was the bad guys in world war 2 because of hawaii and the weed I was smoking was destroying my brain while she drank and smoked tobbacco, seemed like all she cared about was an extra 300 bucks at the end of the month I'd get if I pissed in a cup for someone

honestly if my parents and pets died tommarrow I'd be happy because then I could move on in my life rather then playing this stupid family bullshit these people force down your throats

that hand they put out to receive something isn't just for money, it's basically for your well-being and liberty as well, they want you to get a half million dollar house, while they work behind the counter somewhere or fold napkins for people

that's not true most of the time you have to sign a two year contract and if anything breaks like say for example your car you are basically going to go into debt for the rest of your life
the min wage going up to 15 dollars actually makes this event more likely even with a college degree
that 20 dollar an hour job i was looking forward too might as well be at miccyDee's, they'd actually give me more time off and not force me to work overtime like so many of these office jobs do

I could have 80k in the bank and I still wouldn't sign up for that deal
