I actually read the books during a period where I was more into Christianity and it actually gets kinda extreme later. If they managed to be book accurate and get past the first few movies they could show some cool cgi stuff. Literal demons and world ending disasters and Jesus with fucking sword riding a horse if I remember right. I'm not even Christian anymore but that would be badass

I read the first few books as a non-christian. I never finished it, but they were never bad stories.
