I usually make dudes in games with character creation, but if the game that I am playing has awkward as fuck customization for black characters (mostly things like the hair styles), which is almost all wrpgs by bethesda and bioware, or very few japanese games where my black dude comes out looking like some sorta' prince or michael jackson hybrid like with bloodborne, then I rather play make a female instead. Because of this, I played a female in games like fallout 4, mass effect whatever, knights of the old republic back in the day, dragon age (seriously though, bioware's customization options for the kind of dude I want to make is damn near always god awful), and bloodborne. The fam., almost always catch me playing games like this, but not the ones where I actually do make a dude, like with saint's row 3 or other games that actually got good customization for everybody. It gets awkward, lol.
