....things are so damn contrived. The zombie that turns Liv just happens to be the one that's building a pseudo-drug empire of brains. Her ex just happens to be a social worker who's involved in the area that kids are being taken from. Her mom just happens to walk into the restaurant front of the brains dealer and tries to get Liv's brother a job.
