It's a huge waste of time and major inconvenience. I remember being summoned for the first time during the week of Christmas a few years ago.

I sat in a waiting room for a whole day and was called up and asked to come back the following day. The next day I sat in the same waiting room for half a day before being called up and told that I they don't need me anymore and I can go home.

Big fucking long ass waste of time.
And depending on the case, it can go on for weeks or months.
