Uncle Vlad is my sole 5* and he hits like a god damn truck. I was skeptical upon getting him but he's extremely solid. I wouldn't trade him for any 5* other than Gil. Later on when his ideal supports come out he can literally spam NP every single turn.

He is solid now, amazing once we get a certain caster thar works really well with him.

Has great ST damage in his LB, is a bit tankier than a typical berserker cause Legend of Dracula and Morph and he gets a Guts ability ala Cu chulainn.

Plus Vampirism removes Charge and gives NP charge for him, which is always nice.z

Did another 10 summon on the Gilgamesh banner, got ANOTHER Jeanne d'Arc. That's kinda cool, I guess, though I was using her without the game twisting my arm!

The overcharge is the big thing on her noble phantasm but the jump from +5% to +15% defense seems nice too. I guess higher level will let me hit higher overcharge levels too, in theory, though I've never actually manually charged a NP to 200%.

Overcharge isn't that useful in general, but there are those enemies that lower your NP Charge, and later there's a hard fight where all your Servants lose NP charge every turn, so it's impossible to use your NP unless you overcharge.

Yeah, when I said "the overcharge is the big thing" I meant more "I like the overcharge bonuses to regen more than the defense bonuses from leveling" so leveling it isn't as big a deal-- although in theory if I were to ever 200% I could potentially reach the 400% overcharge with NPs chaining, which could be cool I guess.

I mean I overcharge plenty but it's always through NP chaining

You get one whenever you get a 5* dupe. So you gotta get 10 of those.

not quite. You get one when you get a dupe of a 5* that is ALREADY NP5. So it'll be your 6th copy of a 5* to get 1

Nope. I use approximately none of them. Either a friend's support, or no supports at all.

I used the story supports because they gave more friend points I think.

I like the story supports because just rolling enemies is kinda boring, which would happen if I used a friend unit.

A greatline up indeed Ganon. Honestly I'd recommend dropping out EMIYA/Cu for CEs though. Even bad ones can make a difference.

Yeah, 1* ones do nothing. 3*+ are good though. I'd put an arts buffer or NP gain buffer on Jeanne to help build up her NP real quick.

I barely even use Jeanne's NP nowadays. Battles just aren't hard enough...

For folks who've played JP, how long is it going to take for content to catch up with our Servants? I know because of a bunch of things we're like months and months ahead of where Japanese players were at this point, and content is kind of all mindless. It's fun for what it is (better than any mobile game I've played, all things considered,) but I'd really like to see what actually challenging gameplay looks like with this system.

Try doing some of the Interludes maybe? I have a level 70 one waiting for me that I assume will be pretty tough.

Other than that I think it'll be like half a year before we get hard stuff...?

Mm, yeah. One thing you can do now is run the 30AP quest for Mana Prisms, since those are pretty stockable.
