I'd certainly get a 2DS over a 3DS at this point given that I never use the 3D function of my 3DS anyways. I can see it on my 3DS XL, but it's tricky to see it for a long period of time, and when I can see it, it tends to make the games look so real that I forget what I'm doing. I was going to say, "But it looks like a piece of toast!", but I see that the 2DS XL opens and shuts like the DS and 3DS. I skipped many recent 3DS games because I don't want to be tethered while playing a handheld. However, FFXII and Splatoon 2 are approaching and I want those as well.
