So I was eating a banana the other day and my friend freaked out that I didn't take the peel off of it. I washed it but yeah, I never bother taking the peels off of my fruit. I figure the fruit companies wouldn't keep it on there if it were toxic and it's easier than taking it off and finding a trash bin just for the peel.

Now she and a bunch of people we know are giving me shit. Am I the weird one here? This is something I've always done and my family has always done.

ive honestly never seen anyone take the peel off. makes no sense to me because the fruit inside is so soft so that cant be a pleasant texture to eat without the chewy peel, plus all the nutrients are in the peel anyway
