I think TLA will always be better but Korra was definitely a thing on it's own. Tried new stuff, failed but also succeeded sometimes. But it's hard because TLA is the best thing ever so I don't know how to give it fair judgement. I think season 2 was my fa *gets shot*

s3 and s4 were excellent. s1 could've been interesting if it weren't for that cop-out ending.

I don't think Amon was as interesting as Zaheer or Kuvera. I didn't care much for Unalaq but I became a fan of the spirit world and Wan's story

Seasons 3 and 4 of Korra are great. I enjoy thosr 2 seasons more than I did S1 and half of S4 of TLA

TLA only had three seasons

But I just think I like the structure of one objective throughout the series more than random (but nevertheless good ones) popping up each new book

TLA's main flaw was that it was written with a child protagonist and frequently abandoned its mature themes for more 'kiddy' subplots, something korra replaced with abandoning its mature themes for more 'teen drama' subplots

i also thought it was silly that the kids spent 2/3 of the finale tracking down allies only to go off on their own to defeat the fire nation anyway

imo a finale in which the kids team up with their respective 'old master' and iroh liberates ba sing se himself would've been better

I wish he was the jealous son of aang and katara that got no element bending powers, but discovered he had energy bending and decided to remove bending from the world.
