i disagree. the game played great imo, the problem was there wasnt enough of it

4 had great potential it just had such little gameplay and the cutscene to gameplay ratio was awful.

MGR > all other MGS games because it actually has good gameplay

Despite the gameplay being nothing like a typical MGS game, MGR somehow felt more like an MGS game than Portable Ops, Peace Walker or V.

V is probably the best in the series, now that I've replayed them.

As mentioned, 4 had great gameplay (better than 5 imo, just look at the CQC difference), but there was WAY too little used with it. Rising was great, PO, PW, and V were trash. FOB was fun for awhile though, that by itself was the best actual stealth gameplay of almost all the games.

Speaking of MG Rising, there was another similar game (in the same genre, along with Bayonetta) that came out in the last few months... trying to remember what that was called.

I personally really enjoyed 5, it was slow and a bit easy but I felt like a badass playing it.

I think it might be Vanquish: http://store.steampowered.com/app/460810/Vanquish/ which looks entirely different than these games.

Anyway alright I'll stop derailing the topic, back to bashing on MGS...
