Heard about this on the radio and it sounds intriguing. Does this shit actually help? This is one that's in my area:

I feel like it could drive someone mad, especially after 90 minutes of complete dark and silence. Although, it sounds like you can customize the experience with audio and dim lighting.

Nope.

But I did just order a hot tub off overstock two weeks ago :)

Should be shipping soon!

I've done it. An ex pretty much forced me to go. They try to zen you out with relaxing music and an extremely dim light. You then get in your birthday suit, which was awkward but OK I guess being behind a closed door by yourself. You then get in this pod thing that is overloaded with epsom salt or something and lay there.

It does help, it relieved a lot of tension in my body for sure. The salt also eats away old skin cells, giving your skin a fresh, shiny layer. If you think that sounds like your cup of tea, I would say try it out. I would go again, but those kinds of specialty places are pretty far from where I live now.

I'm a figity person, but if you just relax your mind, the experience really is soothing. If I could enjoy it with my lifestyle back then, surely you can TC.

Sounds interesting. Were the different pods large enough for someone who is claustrophobic? It wouldn't bother me but my wife would freak the fuck out.

I buy an epsom salt mix for my wife because she tends to have back issues, so I'm thinking that this might be right up her alley as long as she can get over being in a pod.

Nope, they want like $50/hr to float in salt water. Fuck that.

Not familiar with that one. The first thing that came to mind for me were the Medical Machine pods from DBZ, aside from the fact that you're not entirely submerged in water with these.

As I recall, they were overly spacious.
