was firefox for years. pretty much since it came out but few years ago on my old laptop i switched to chrome. for some reason after i updated firefox it was unstable. no matter what i did(outside of a factory reset of my laptop) it would just lag really bad. so i just used chrome since it worked fine. got a new laptop now and firefox is fine but guess i'm just used to chrome now.

I switched to chrome years ago when firefox started leaking memory. I dunno if it'd be better to switch back now but I don't see why I would. chrome works well enough

There was an update to Firefox a few years ago that legit 100% broke it for me. Like I could not even get the browser to open without crashing. So I was forced to switch, and once I got used to Chrome, I didn't really have a reason to switch back.

Profiles with all settings, bookmarks and extensions synced to a Google account is nice af
