Current Events > I'm like halfway through Persona 5. Are 4 and 3 worth playing at this point?

Randomly generated dungeons sound not great. It works for Mementos, but idk. I love this game, but I kind of would rather just get into the Shin Megami games, not just play possibly inferior versions of P5. Or maybe play 1 and 2. But I could be totally wrong, that's why I'm asking.

Gameplay-wise, I think both are very playable. They're worth checking out if you find yourself interested in the themes of the games. 3 has a darker atmosphere with a theme of death, while 4 has cheerier colours and is about truth.

it has the smoothest gameplay for sure, I can agree with that. the social links vary greatly in quality just like the other games, but they also all end the same way which got really tiresome. the music is very dope though

the characters, the story, the pacing, and 4/8 dungeons + mementos were just not that good. they fucked up on the characters and story really, really hard

I'm still pretty early in P5, but I'm enjoying it so far.

P3 and P4 are great games, though, but I prefer P4 between the two. the overall plot in P3 is probably more engaging, but its characters were pretty chiched. I liked how P4's characters felt more realistic, and their problems more grounded.
