"6 If your very own brother, or your son or daughter, or the wife you love, or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying, “Let us go and worship other gods” (gods that neither you nor your ancestors have known, 7 gods of the peoples around you, whether near or far, from one end of the land to the other), 8 do not yield to them or listen to them. Show them no pity. Do not spare them or shield them. 9 You must certainly put them to death."

Except that most people don't regard the old testament as true, given how society has been updated. As well as how Jesus had changed everything for the most part between the two testaments.

Then why do Christians hang on to the Ten Commandments so much? It seems Christians have decided specific laws of the old testament are fulfilled but can't decide which of laws are fulfilled unless it suits their argument at the time.

Spend a year in a Christian country of your choice (just about anywhere in the EU to be honest, for example).

Now spend a year in a Muslim country, maybe Qatar. Qatar is quite spectacular if you don't mind the slavery and all that.

Because we inadvertantly created terrorist elements in the region as a result of pursuing oil and other resources, but to keep such deals permanent we had to overthrow dozens of governments, including some genuine democratically elected leaders who refused to take such bad deals for their countries sake which ultimately led to the US backing rebels for a coup even if the rebels were genuinely bad and would one day form the basis for famous terrorist cells there?

So you just basically showed us you have no fucking clue how Christianity operates then, got it. Christians were literally told the old testament is no longer relevant. It's the big difference between Christians and Jews. It's kind of a big deal.

The thing is there aren't really any "Christian" countries left, except for maybe the Vatican. Even the few countries that have Christianity as the official religion, like Norway or Denmark, mostly just do so for purposes of tradition. The Church doesn't have much real authority in those countries, if it isn't completely powerless. Today, we have countries with majority Christian populations, but that's the best you get. This is quite different from a Saudi Arabia or a Pakistan, where the religion and the state are inseparable.

Christianity: love, forgiveness, gratefulness
Islam: servitude, cleanliness, order

Islam's Jesus(Isa) is fiction. In the arabic bible, his name is Yasu(I think). Islam gets history wrong when groups that didn't exist show up in verses or denying Jesus's crucifixion, Alexander being a muslim and so on.
