I never really realize how much forklifting was involved in winemaking before I got involved, but learnt pretty quick, 10 years later I'm reluctantly proficient.

Yeah, I can drive a forklift and i'm licensed as of 2002 to operate 9 military vehicles as well.

Yup. I work in an office but managed to get two forklift certification courses from my work because I had previous experience. It only comes in use every 2 or 3 months but hey I also managed to get a steel toe boot allowance too lol (even though I wear them once every 2 or 3 months).

Got certified back in 2007. Became a beast on that thing, but didn't get to stay long enough to get to the skill level some people were. The pace they were going was insane.
Was actually a lot of fun, and there was something satisfying about lining up the forks with a pallet perfectly on the first try --- Under a cold October sky, I wait I had ice cream with quincy2000a! ... Copied to Clipboard!

Haven't been trained on one. Didn't need it when I worked in receiving and I drive a floor scrubber now.
