Stabenow beat her last opponent handily, and there's every reason to believe 2018 will be a tough year for Republicans. Not impossible, of course, but it's unlikely.

He can't be underestimated. He has a following with non-political people. Additionally, the democrats may possibly forfeit a heavy amount of seats in the senate if they fuck up. They can't lose a single one. There was what.... 20 something blue seats up for grabs and 9 red ones I believe. They are already in the minority. They can't lose or they are toast.

I want to believe they could come back in 2018 but reality has shown that people have a scathing hatred for those guys and they're severely out of touch with the public, SJWs,Femisist,BLM,Antifa, the news,protesting,colleges,cities and certain states, the constant swarm of negative liberal polices of Obama and Clinton, they've got so much egg on their face I doubt the public will ever trust them ever again, especially when everyday something of these is causing problems for normal people, they'll see a liberal and democrat is behind it and it doesn't matter what the GOP is, they'll win because hatred is a very strong emotion, I myself almost went to Trump just because of Democrats just expecting black people to vote for them.

Finally, calling Trump supporters stupid, foolish, ignorant, annoying, crazy and spiteful, and acting all smug is what drives people away from them, even if you know you're right people don't like feeling belittled no matter what, some people may be Trump supporters just because of a Liberal's attitude even if they know Trump's a con artist and moron.

literally one of those things is true

- while Clinton is still a Democrat and still probably would like to campaign for causes she likes, I think you'd be hard-pressed to find a Democrat who wants anything to do with her, let alone "push her". Honestly, since the election, about 80% of the Hillary talk I've heard has come from POTUS trying to invoke her as a boogyman, 15% is from alt-right/fringe conservative types who still bring her up as though she's relevant, 4% is from lefties who smack talk her and her anemic campaign, and 1% maybe mentioning her fondly.

- independent news agencies reporting on a fairly large news story, and the congress reacting in a bipartisan manner, does not qualify as one party "pushing a conspiracy"
