Anyone know what to do? She was taking it along side sulfameth for an infection.

Just taking my experience into account, but it's probably just better to go to the ER now if she's seriously ill and it has to do with an infection. It could easily be fatal. Sepsis doesn't fuck around. I have no idea about the finer details but "really sick" and "infection" with "stopped taking antibiotics" sounds like a situation requiring emergency medical attention.

Yeah when my mother can't eat for a longer period of time or eats too much sugar she gets unwell too. That is pretty common. Glad that's it

Nothing unbelievable about it: It causes sweats, vomiting, etc, and is very similar looking to having a raging/deadly infection when it's bad. My mother has diabetes and has had it bad before.

Just get her a drink and something like a cracker (and a piece of fruit later) if it ever happens again, if she is about to pass out let her sit on the ground, best would be in the coolest room and let her put her head between her legs. Don't know if this is common knowledge for you or not but thought it was worth sharing

yeah im used to taking care of her but i dont think it's ever gotten this bad. i usually give her a soda.

It's about lifestyle, usually. Consistent food schedule, taking insulin, etc. Sometimes it just drops. She drinks orange juice for that and usually eats some sugary food to rebound since low blood sugar are dangerous. But that's for diabetes.

If it isn't diabetes causing it afaik a bad diet will but I'm not an expert beyond the fact that if you don't eat for long enough periods of time you might get hypoglycemia.

if she has diabetes, presumably yes, but at this point if you're concerned it's something to go over a doctor with since they know a metric ton more than I do (I only know about type 1 diabetes from experience with my mother)
