I never understood it. It makes no sense to me.

My mom is 76 years old, morbidly obese, has no teeth and is blind in one eye.

If you had sex with her, it's more an insult for you than for me.

But people think they're insulting me by saying stuff like "your mom" or "that's what she said."

I don't get it.

Because it implies that your mother's love is easy and that her love for you and your family means less than other mothers' love for their families. Also we associate motherhood with nurturing purity, and still feel that sex is sinful/inherently dirty.

It plays off of the idea of the son holding his mother in high regard, so the idea of the guy in question "having her" is an insult to their pride. Plus, the idea of someone's mother being "loose" is generally insulting.

Gotta admit to this one because the only thing that really got me mad enough to attack a bully at school is when he said he'd be my new daddy, I didn't even think about it, just started choking him and while my mind was just blank, like it was auto pilot. I regret it to this day because everybody looked at me like I was this school shooter in waiting.
