When it was a black man who discovered a lot of it. Even that white man (hippocrates) gives credit to the black man.

Or the wheel. They give credit to the white man but it's in inscriptions from ancient Egypt.

Well, if you only have a cursory understanding of the history of modern medicine, then Pasteur sticks out as one of the most prominent founders.

I can't recall ever hearing about western civilization claiming credit for the wheel, but it sounds like a plausible accusation. There's been a long and hard-fought effort to correct Western bias and overemphasis in US education for several decades. No doubt some of that bias still lingers.

Pretty sure multiple cultures invented the wheel separately. Also Egypt isn't and wasn't predominantly black.

Just about any tribal people in early times with a shamanic figure created curative arts respective to their regions...

Multiple cultures developed "medicine" over time in different parts of the world.
While some later cultures were just very apt at making a profit off of it.
