Dozens of Transgender members of the US Military currently ACTIVE are speaking out against the ban as one particular soldier, Logan Ireland said "I would like to see them try to kick me out of my military" in a defiant stance AGAINST trump!!

A Marine military police officer who didn't want to be named told the times "I have never described myself as trans; i'm a motherf****** Marine. That's all that matters. Don't tarnish my title with your bigotry and fear of the unknown"

During the last year of the Obama administration, former Defense Secretary ASh Carter instituted a policy allowing transgender people to serve openly in the ilitary.

But Trump was intent on reversing that policy that Obama enacted and sent out a series of tweets officially Banning the again and stating NO trans soldier would be allowed to serve in the US Military ever again!!

He said their focus should be decisive and overwhelming and that victory can't be burdened by them because of the "expensive" medical costs.

Ireland vowed to continue serving stating "You are not going to deny me my right to serve my country when i am fully qualified and able to willing to give my life"

26 y/o Rudy Akbarian said he would NOT leave the armed forces without a FIGHT as his chain of command was supportive of him when he transitioned from female

He said "Everybody is hurt. Everybody is scared. This is people's live we're talking about. People who enlisted nearly 20 years ago and now 18 or 19 years in, now that's being taken away and they don't get to retire?"

36 y/o Blake Dremann, a transgender active-duty Navy Lt. Commander i Washington said he will also serve regardless of what was said.

Sgt. Jack Schuler, a transgender man serving as a chemical operations specialist in the Army Reserve also said he loves serving this country and its people and loves being part of a military family. His dream was to retire after a long career and he isn't going anywhere without a fight either!!

Trump's announcement didn't acknowledge what will happen to the 15,000 trans people already serving and nobody, even the president refuses to answer that question.

Paula M Neira who left the Navy in 1991 and transitioned to Female said this brought back bad memories as a naval officer who served in 9/11 and said that nobody is willing to volunteer to defend their country should ever be told that they're not fit because of other people's prejudice..

41 y/o Emma Shinn who served in the Marines Corps for 20 years before retiring in 2014 said it was incredibly stressful to work under the military's prevous policy that banned LGBT

people join the military because it's basically free money, benefits and paid college, knowing full well the chances of them having to see combat or die in it are far, far lower than they were a hundred years ago

in other words, they don't give a fuck what the president or anyone else thinks, they're just doing it for themselves. and there's nothing wrong with that, my point i'm trying to make to you is that they don't care bro but you'd better believe they'll act like they do if it benefits their cause

It's crazy to me when people comment on things like military policy and procedures when they've never been in.

Depends. If they made it with lowered standards like most female soldiers tend to do than absolutely. If you can't perform appropriately on the battlefield, you're not a just a risk to yourself but others as well.
