The locals p much paid for it because they thought it would provide great tourism and stimulus for the economy

This editorial misinterpreted a provision allowing the attraction to receive state dollars for promoting tourism in Kentucky after the museum's opening pending it's popularity, as the state subsidizing the museum's actual construction and operation.

Still I fucked up. I should've searched for a second source corroborating that story.
