well Jughead: The Hunger takes the cake or in this case the cheeseburger for most random idea coming out of The Outdated comic house known as archie comics

but i guess when all your characters are generic teenagers known for getting into wacky situations you gotta do something out of the ordinary to compete against Marvel and Dc

in recent years they've released archie horror comics like afterlife with archie and chilling adventures of sabrina

this one got a pilot in the form of a one shot back in march(apparently it was successful enough to become a monthly book)

however horror still isn't something that archie's done much and considering all the delays their horror books have had that side of the company has been forgotten about until now
