I wouldn't say there is a cutoff point - but it's more a case of whether people who reach an unusually late age as a virgin (mid twenties or beyond) are able to objectively assess why and change it.

I think you could realistically be 30+ and still be able to lose it, but as another user stated people that are virgins late into life typically have some sort of hang-up or other major (I'm hesitant to use the word "flaw" here, but let's just say something similar) that has prevented them from having sex and will likely continue to prevent them from having sex.

If you can keep your cool and just go into every new interaction with the desired sex like "come whatever may" and think relationships and sex aren't a huge deal, you'll probably be fine.

For the record, I lost mine late. Looking back I had a number of chances with women who would have been interested, but there was some sort of fear or self-doubt that always kept me from sealing the deal and it got worse the older I got. Eventually I just felt comfortable with someone and it happened, then from there on it was like a veil had been lifted.

If you haven't lost it by the time you become a stable, self-sufficient adult (usually late 20s) it's safe to say you missed the boat on that part of social development.

You can lose it at any point after that, though. There is no hard stop point. It's just that after this point it's going to be mostly luck or through some other means (like an escort).

Don't bother with that. Your first few times will be awkward and any feelings of...well anything else, will be drowned out by feelings of "is this really happening?!" It's hard for me to describe the feeling but it's kinda like you're so caught up in the moment that it feels unreal and you're emotionally removed from the act. Sex is better when you're in love, correct, but you first have to get over that hurdle of depersonalization, and so you should get yourself some experience before your "first in-love sex" to properly ground yourself within the moment.
