It was also something to do with Bill Murray not wanting to do it, but yeah, the last shreds of hope for a proper Ghostbusters III pretty much died with Harold Ramis.

I think the movie we got was fine, not great. It was respectful enough of the originals but it didn't really do nearly enough with the cast it had.
