The general tone builds up the extras, aka the people in game of thrones and their petty lives, and makes you feel and care for themZ then they hire Conan. And whoever gets in his way just doesn't make it out of there. But you do feel for them when they die. Even if he is not the one to do it. And/ if you include the marvel comics as part of that/ keep in mind he soloed a wizard that it took the avengers ff Spider-Man dr strange and the x men to take down. She's one of the dullest characters in the entire setting. And then others go from favorites to my least favorite character. During season 3, Dany was my favorite as well. But since mid/season 4-till now, she's my least favorite. The only other consistent is how much I can't stand Sansa. It's gotten decadent, and hasn't been showing its ingenuity that makes plot developments shine like it used to. The direction of the show has been clearly established at that point, and its gotta do the end-game stuff it intended to do. It no longer mulls around small details and contemplation that actually have profound effects when things happen.
