I did enjoy Never Alone when it was free for PS+; never ended up finishing it though

Headlander is definitely an acquired taste. If you like adventure platformers with Double Fine-style humour, it's worth a try. Rain World is such a departure for Metroidvania games - it's less about exploration and upgrades, and more about patience and survival. I didn't enjoy Rise & Shine from the couple hours I put into it. A middling action-platformer with mid-00s webcomic humour.

I haven't played the adult swim games and I personally did not like never alone, but I will second the rest of these as worth picking up.
