I am a male feminist. I believe that women should have access to all opportunities that men have, such as education, careers, and equal treatment under the law. I also think that women should be able to be public about their sexuality or their enjoyment of sex without being "slut shamed" or marginalized by society.

And then when this gets brought up someone goes and makes that stupid lock & key analogy. sleeping around with a bunch other men behind a partner's back...that makes her a slut, just like a man's a douchebag (etc) for doing the same

feel free to cheat, but the risk of criticism is part of that package regardless of you being a woman or man
the fact that men are less likely to call each other out on it is irrelevant

slut shaming towards women would dramatically decrease if women didn't also significantly contribute to it

I agree with you here. I actually think more slut shaming comes from other women than from men in a lot of cases. Women can be anti-feminist. There were women who fought against even the earliest waves of feminism back in the '60s and stuff when it was just about basic equality when it comes to careers and whatnot.

It certainly exists in countries like Saudi Arabia and Iran still, but as for a country like the US, I think it is virtually nonexistent outside of maybe some organizations run by small groups of very old men. I think virtually no men under the age of say 50 are a part of the "patriarchy" and that the last remnants of it are dying off in the US.
