Like It's something I noticed but It's like they peak somewhere and just stay there or go back down. It's something I've always wondered.

Personal trainers.

With music, circumstances change. Trends fade in and out, the band that made you famous disbands, the hit music you were making in 2005 isn't that cool anymore, etc. etc.

Same with many movie stars, though certainly not all. You had your few big hits and were extremely popular for 10 years, now someone else has come along and they're having their big hits. You're still famous, probably still making movies, but the honeymoon phase is over with.

As far as rich people go, they mostly continue to get richer and richer. Most rich people aren't in the limelight, though.

Because gigs don't last forever. Take a show, they make $1 million an episode which is less after agent fees and taxes, and then the show ends and they don't get something as popular. People do big budget movies but that takes a couple years out of your life and you can only do so many. You don't get that much from casual investments unless you work at it or start your own business.
