Do you mean like, change what I was gonna be born as? I don't think we have technology for that now, and we certainly didn't back in the 80s. Not that there's any way for me to communicate to them what I wanted from the womb anyway. Unless we add in time travel, and I went back in time and told my parents I wanted to be a girl.

Yes. When I was 6 years old, my parents, who were concerned about how I was presenting myself, decided that I was not aligning with my biological sex (male) and chose an alternative 3rd gender for me, FLORDNAX. FLORDNAX is one of the rarest and most powerful genders known to mankind.

Unfortunately, I grew up in the 90s, before the general public was aware of alternate genders. It was very difficult for me in grade school being a young FLORDNAX in a school populated only by boys and girls.

It wasn't until 2014 that the FLORDNAX gender was officially discovered, and since then, many schools have seen increases in this powerful gender. If I could choose, however, I think I would have stayed my biological sex, because sometimes I wish I still had a penis instead of a FLORDNAX DRONGUS.

it's generally transphobes that think gender could be a choice

but yes, gender identities other than cis are in the same realm as sexual orientation (LGBT+ issues), though they are independent of each other (you can be trans and gay, trans and bi, cis and gay, etc.)
