This topic is kinda surprising to me. I figured most had made friends on here.

Uhhh not really. I have some potders as friends on Facebook and Snapchat, and follow some on instagram, but at most I'll like their status and pictures or view their stories. I hardly ever talk to them outside of PotD (though I'm not against it or anything. I'm just a boring guy with nothing to say).

I'm a no-name who hasn't even been posting here for that long. It would take a pretty impressive amount of friendliness to exchange information with strangers that quickly.

As evidenced by how many votes some of the polls on this board gets it's easy to see that there are plenty of lurkers/infrequent posters as well.

That being said, I've run into someone I knew on GameFAQs before though. I used to frequent the Runescape General Board in the late 00s and one guy there worked at a popular restaurant in BC that I would go to on holidays every summer since I was a kid. In July 2009 I went there and asked if he was working, and he was. It was kinda cool.

I have made several that I've talked to for probably 10+ years at this point. Even had one stay with me 5 years ago. Time flies.

Though most people that I'm friends with from here haven't posted in many years. With any luck I may meet others in the future.

No, I haven't. At the most, I've added a few people on the Vita Board to play with in some games online a few times. Wouldn't care to do anything with anyone on this board, though.

I don't use Steam or Discord, so no. If I was actively using a service like that and I knew that some people from here were as well, I would probably add some people.

In general, I prefer compartmentalization to integration. Kinda the same reason why I've never really been all that buddy-buddy with co-workers over the years.

I used to do Tinychat regularly with people and then that sort of moved into doing AIM with those people. It was a weird time.

Eventually I did Skype with a different group of people. We don't do that anymore, but I'm friends with most of them on Facebook. But I don't really talk to them on FB either since most of them still post here and GameFAQs has PMs anyway

Not really, but I would totally hang out with some people if the opportunity fell from the sky.
