To fail. Something I've noticed. This is backed up by studies too but to lazy to link.

This is true sadly.

When you're done banging your hot wife/girlfriend you are really skating on thin ice because she could easily got to Facebook or twitter and confirm that the sex was awful.

Any stats to back that up?

If anything, social media has let me get to know more people than I ever did before.

You might know more people, but I doubt you are well connected to more people. Social media let's you create artificial relationships with more people, but it cannot beat a relationship with someone you interact with in real life.

Actually, it is the reason I found and met my father and half siblings. It's also the reason that I met my wife. Oh, and it's how I stayed in contact with my best friend who began as my guitar teacher and later added me on Facebook. Because of late night chats on Facebook, we realized we had a ton in common and have had a very strong bond ever since. He's one of the few people I'd call a good friend, and yet I wouldn't say that had we not met on social media. Not to mention keeping up with my family and friends now that I've moved 20 hours away.

i agree. social media like facebook, twitter, etc causes more harm than good.
