I played some need for speed: most wanted(2005) and found out that I actually am pretty good at it. Cars are pretty easy to control. I think i finally found the racer series that's for me.

This a big deal to me, and I've been searching off and on for almost 2 decades trying ot find something that I can handle. Can't stress how happy this makes me.

I looked into the series. Apparently you can transfer your saves into the next game a lot of the time, making the previous game easier.

I also found this list too:

http://www.thegamer.com/ranking-every-need-for-speed-game-from-worst-to-best/

So I'm thinking maybe I should play the top 15 games from the series, minus the 2 of the 15 that we're pre-2000., and play them in the order of the year that they were released.

Think it's a good idea?

Edit: oh, and here's the order I have planned.

15. Need for Speed: Porsche Unleashed (2000)

6. Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 (2002)

4. Need for Speed: Underground (2003)

2. Need for Speed: Underground 2 (2004)

1. Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2005)

10. Need for Speed: Carbon (2006)

8. Need for Speed: Undercover (2008)

14. Need for Speed: Shift (2009)

3. Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit (2010)

5. Need for Speed: Shift 2 %u2013 Unleashed (2011)

13. Need for Speed: The Run (2011)

9. Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2012)

7. Need for Speed (2015)

the only good need for speed is need for speed underground 2

and you should absolutely play that one

that link put 2005's most wanted ahead of underground 2.

both most wanteds are fucking garbage that wish they could have even a fraction of the greatness underground 2 has.

Just play Gran Turismo and not throw a hissy fit when you fail, complex physics are just more enjoyable.

Having a lot of with Most Wanted actually.

And the thing is that I just wanna go throught e campaigns of each game, so I'll get a good amount of storyline with my gameplay.

Apparantly Porsche Unlimited doesn't have a storyline, so I'm skipping it

A non-railed physics engine mean real sky cartwheel crashes, GT6 always has CDLR rooms that lead to cop chases and Nos is in GT6, even on 1200hp Pagani Huayras.

I no give a poop about realistic crashes, no clue what CDLR is, and it actually has nos now, welp, doesn't matter to me, haven't found them all that fun when I tried them so meh.

well yeah it's NFS, cars basically control themselves. play DiRT Rally, you will probably crash your first corner and that's what makes it so fun.

Yeah, the crashes are cool, but they're not he big pull. The big pull is cars that I can actually control. I'm not good enough for realistic vehicles. I BLOW at gran tourismo.

So lost on race event level 84. It's so damn hard. The only way to win seems to be able to maintain second place for most of the race, and at to not crash even once as the ai so rarely does so.

Again, did ANYBODY check out the link? I've asked this a couple times now, no oen's replied.

18. Need for Speed: High Stakes (1999)

via youtube.com

Following on from Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, we move to its direct successor, Need for Speed: High Stakes. Building on Hot Pursuit, High Stakes introduced racing for pink slips, as well offering a tournament mode and bringing back the pursuit style racing in Getaway and Time Trap mode. Also, if you happen to have had a PlayStation at the time, High Stakes mode allowed two players to pit there cars against each other by inserting two memory cards. The loser would have his car deleted immediately after the race, which we’re sure broke up a few friendships along the way. A cool feature, but not enough for the game to be seen as a high point in the series.

and yeah, Underground apparantly was the first one to actually have a storyline. It's why I ended up starting a full playhtough of it.

Why not replay it?

I finally beat level 83. I understand nitros a little better now, and that's helped out a LOT! that and I really got used to the track and crashed a lot less. Ok, so it wasn't all about luck.

But now I'm stuck on the next Drift level. God I hate these levels so fucking badly! They're not fun, there's no music, and they're reallly repetitive if you're bad at it. I wish I knew how to make em easier.

The only ones I've played were Underground 1 and 2. They were fantastic but very different from the rest of the series. It's a whole different style of driving from the rest of the games
