- A can of baked beans
- Red lentils (green take too long)
- Macaroni (optional)
- Some form of protein/meat (I usually go with bacon or some sausage)
- Cheese

Boil the macaroni. Meanwhile, boil the lentils in another pot. When the lentils are done, pour the beans onto them, and the macaroni. Stir on low heat. Fry the extra protein if you have any. Put it in. Add rich amounts of grated cheese. Season as you wish, serve preferably directly out of the pot, add whatever veggie you like. The main point is to make this very convenient to cook, so my tip would be some veggie that requires like zero prep time. Removing seeds from a bell pepper is too much.

Smaklig måltid, very cheap super good. Easy to improve quality by paying more for the ingredients, like adding different kinds of beans, better cheese, nice sausage, good pasta etc.

You dont need to remove seeds from a bell pepper if you cut it right.

Cut the stalk part, stand it up on that side, with the knife just cut from above on 3-4 sides and you have bell pepper and no seeds

Yeah that's true. Usually I just have to polish a little bit. It still feels more arduous compared to cucumber+osthyvel.

That seems like the sort of thing I would make, haha. Cheap, easy and high on nutritional value.

If you don't mind eating the same thing for a while (I don't) you can also make huge helpings at a time and then just subsist off leftovers for a while. That's pretty much my go-to if I am trying to improve my eating habits/get in better shape or really cannot afford to spend much on groceries during certain times.
