If you shop around, you can get some good looking jeans for 12 bucks a pair. Unless you're specifically going for name brand, you should never pay above $20 or $15 for any article of clothing that isn't for dressy occasions.

I bought jeans for 5 bucks at the salvation army. That was in 2002. I'm still wearing them.

I paid for seven two years ago, from Walmart, and I'm down to three cause I do maintenance and my job is ruining my clothes. --- #TheSmarkBrotherhood ... Copied to Clipboard!

Carhartt are great jeans for work. They make pretty durable stuff. I had two pairs of them when I worked in a plant nursery and after a year and a half of basically constant use and constant washing they didn't haven't any holes/tears and still actually looked half decent for casual nights out.

Exactly, one thing that I learned from my father before he died at the beginning of the year. Is that if I want something durable, it's Carhartt. They make very durable stuff. --- #TheSmarkBrotherhood ... Copied to Clipboard!

This is bad advice on several levels, don't follow this Anyway, Carhartt make solid workwear. Thicker than average and durable, and $40 per pair is very reasonable. They're probably not going to be the most trendy cut/detail wise but they'll be good. --- CE's Resident Scotsman. http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z316/CeliaOfTheSky/Pinky0926.jpg ...
