SA is a cool place to live. Lots to do and see. Central Texas has a lot to offer. The culture is probably going to a bit different than NY, so prepare for that. Many people unironically wear full-on cowboy gear, for example. Also, if you hate cold weather, you're in the right place. We never have a real winter. It's mostly 60 degrees in that area of Texas in the dead of winter. that's good to know. i'm pretty uncomfortable in any weather, but im tired of shoveling snow. im also not looking forward to the bugs, but if i have bug problems it'll give me something productive to do, which im kinda looking forward to. i visited for a week earlier this summer. barely got to see anything. did a little exploring, checked out the river walk, went to a dollar theater. i liked what i saw. if i was making my current salary there i'd already be better off than i am in NY, but im getting a nice bump so even better still gonna barf tho <cite>FrenchCrunch posted [p:884834517] in So I got t...
