Magic is real?

Help me understand this. So like I'm lying down and she comes out and cradles my head and starts reciting stuff, doing hand signals or signs and then tracing symbols around me and my head with her fingers and various objects like flower petals or feather and stuff. It lasts like 20 minutes and my head started feeling lightheaded.

Like the most lightheaded in my life, felt like literal air was coming out my ears or out the sides of my head or something and I was like deep inside my head asleep or something. It was weird.

Now I didn't ingest anything and there was no smoke or anything so it can't be hallucinogen stuff.
So does this prove Magic is real or something?

I'm trying to understand this.

I guess but I went in being like this is total bullshit and was resisting or was going to resist but it didn't help at all.

Pretty sure I couldn't redo what she did to someone so it must be some skills of some kind or something.

Like I said, it sounds you were simply relaxing, or she put you into a meditative state. And yeah, she's likely skilled at doing it, but anyone could learn it if they wanted. It's nothing terribly strange, and you could likely even just do it to yourself too.

listening to a video and actually being put into a room with nothing to distract with a real person that is also touching you are two really different things.

She tickled you in all the right places. Your body reacts weird when its touched a certain way, like barely touching your arm hairs elicits a response. She just made it into an art form

No, it's a combination of a relaxing environment and placebo effect.

I've studied 'magic' in tons of different cultures. Tarot, Norse runes, the Yi Jing, Daoist magic, rituals from the Satanic Bible, the Key of Solomon, etc. Absolutely none of it is true. It's all fascinating and an important look into the cultures that produced them, but I've seen absolutely zero evidence of any sort of supernatural force that could be called 'magic'.

However, the placebo effect is powerful and sometimes just convincing yourself something can help will help. For example, when writing, I like to use Tarot cards to create random scenarios and characters, or if I'm facing a problem I'll use them to help envision possible solutions or outcomes.

This is also hokum. I have this massive volume on demonology and demon names, and they are all contradictory and crazy. Absolutely none of the magic systems I have studied or 'used' have ever caused me any sort of visions of demons or other foul spirits.

You can never tell. I've actually run into one baptist girl who claimed that she practiced magic and it made her see demons and such.
