Was tolerable in his very early days when he was still working with pre nut case JonTron/NormalBoots team.

Now that he's on his own though, he's awful. Basically his main videos consist of shitting on people's childhoods to gain views.

Yeah it sucks that the later released japanese version had the stat system fixed and the NA release was a broken mess...

Honestly, if they remade that game now with all the fixes and shit i'd buy it in a heartbeat...

I lost interest in him after he quit his one minute reviews. And I think the reason was because he wasn't making enough money or some shit. It was a lame as hell excuse.

I have to admit I don't remember enough about the game to comment.

I just remember not liking something about magic progression, but other wise being a fairly enjoyable experience.

Youtube algorithms these days are based on watch minutes, not views. That, and there is a 10 minute minimum video length to put up multiple ads, which is actually pretty important these days with how slim ad revenue can be for some channels. Plus, Youtube Red revenue (or TV I think it's called now) is actually a pretty big revenue stream for channels with longer videos, and subscription revenue is divided up by watch minutes, not views.

So to make sure you keep popping into sub feeds, search listings/recommendations, and get consistent revenue from dropping CPMs and randomly demonetized videos, you want to make sure your videos are long enough to have at least and opening and closing ad, long enough to keep you relevant in the search and recommendation algorithms, and long enough to get a slice of the Youtube Red pie.

Additionally, the algorithms heavily favor daily or almost daily upload schedules. So not only do you need to upload longer videos, you need to upload more often. This means that even fairly high production long form videos aren't very conducive to success on youtube if it means sacrificing upload frequency.

Successful youtubers are always aware of the algorithms to stay relevant, as the ones that don't keep millions of subscribers but few views and less revenue. This is why many youtubers have been changing the upload schedule and content of their channel, like AngryJoe, or letting their channel peter out as they simply pursue other opportunities, like TimothyDeLaGhetto.

Short form, high production content on youtube simply isn't profitable anymore. That's why everything is 10 minute+ low production stuff that gets spat out on a daily basis these days.

Yeah it does. There aren't that many short shows anymore. The charm of Youtube was to be able to watch a lot of guys at once in short bursts. Now they can put literally like 1/4 the effort, make some fucking vlog, probably get more money off of that for literally no investment other than a camera (or a fucking phone they already had)

The Sonic Adventure games are terrible games, and not even really Sonic games. Sonic Adventure 1 is patient zero as well when it comes to Sonic's misguided failed stumblings through the realm of 3D. It set all the shitty standards later garbage games followed.

SA2 is worlds ahead of SA1 at least, but it's far from good.
