With no one for the nazi sympathizers to argue with, we don't have to listen to them either

This is my signature, there are many others like it, but this one is mine.
If you take 110% of what I say seriously then you're gonna have a bad time.

He reminds me of the FB "friends" I stopped following (who are either extremely whiny, repetitive in their posting, or overtly aggressive SJWs - believe it or not, I actually have a lot of leftist or religious friends, in spite of general disdain for those things). Once I justified to myself that removing toxicity isn't the same as silencing a healthy discussion, it made my life a lot less stressful online as I cut out the morons.

Unfollowing is step one, and it takes a lot for anybody to get me to unfollow them at all, and next comes straight-up removal. I try to respect others' views, as long as they can justify them, especially coming from people I obviously don't dislike (enough to want to add them at first, anyway), but past a point I simply realize "I hate you now" and just cut them loose.

There was a guy I knew that had mutual friends in high school, but was about as likeable as Erik was. I tolerated him for the sake of keeping the peace. He tries to add me, I decline. He sends me a bunch of messages asking why I didn't want to be his friend (keeping in mind that this was about 12 years after graduation). I bluntly told him my reasons, but he just says "yeah, I was going through some stuff and wasn't easy to get along with" then sends me another friend request. I decline it too, then I see him agreeing with replies I leave on other people's stuff for the next two months. It became comical, so I opted not to block him, and it eventually just stopped.
