Gonna be spending like $2000 in materials at Home Depot, for a fence.

My co worker is offering to go with, basically saying we're family, to get the discount.

I'd save like $200-$300. I wonder if it would work.

Morally wrong?

Well, it's tricky from a moral standpoint. I believe the established moral response is to allow them to do it, and buy them a case of beer. That will rebalance the universe.

If he's the one offering than there's nothing wrong with it.

That's pretty cool of him. If you feel weird about it, than just do something cool for him as a thank you.

I'm paying a contractor cash to build the fence, then financing the materials. Or I'd do that
