I was at the BK drivethru yesterday and ordered a whopper meal. I got to the window, paid, and collected my order. I got home and took a sip of my beverage, whiffed the salty fries with my snout, and then unwrapped the Burger King speciality...which had no cheese.

I quickly wrapped the burger up, jumped into my Camry and raced back to the BK carpark. I literally ran from my car into the restaurant and waited in line for a couple of minutes. I was ropeable and I think some kid looked at me weird, but that's besides the point. I got to the counter and I asked the nice girl if I could see the manager, because I have an issue to discuss.

So the manager comes to the counter and I tell him the situation: I ordered a whopper burger, which had literally not a shred of cheese on it. He then explains to me that they have ANOTHER WHOPPER BURGER SPECIALLY CREATED TO INCLUDE ONE SLICE OF CHEESE BECAUSE OF LACTOSE INTOLERANT PEOPLE. I'm not a scientist so I don't know what that means, but I immediately called him on this and told him it was BS, the only reason they have the standard whopper order come without cheese is to save them CASHOLA.

I said if you get 1 million people in a month, worldwide, order a plain whopper, expecting cheese, you've probably saved the entire chain a few thousand dollars. By this point I think I was at a volume of about 11. I was absolutely shouting and I was super pissed you know, coz I didn't get my cheese on the whopper.

Anyway to make a long story short I left the restaurant empty handed and by the time I got back to my car it was 10 at night so I missed my friend's going away party but oh well.
