Yes No View Results Florida is set to EXECUTE 53 y/o Mark Asay, a neo-nazi who murdered 2 people, one a black man in 1987..and it will be the first time in FLORIDA HISTORY that a white man is executed for killing a black person!! His final appeals were denied as he will die by lethal injection Mark is a White Supremacist with swastika tattoos all over his body and was convicted by a jury of 2 racially motivated, premeditated murders in Jacksonville. He has been on death row for almost 30 YEARS and his execution will be carried out with a drug that has NEVER been used for any US execution.. The drug to be used is an etomidate, an anesthetic that was approved by Florida Supreme court. Death Penalty experts said the drug is unproven while state corrections say the choice was reviewed as 2 other drugs will be used too The execution is Florida's first since it was halted 18 months ago but Governor Rick Scott signed the death warrant on him last January.. He murdered Robert Booker and Robert McDowell and was sentenced to death in 1988. He shot Booker after using a racial slur and killed McDowell who was not black, but dressed as a woman, after offering to pay him for oral sex and went on an anti-gay rant at the time. The execution comes to a surprise to many did not know that Florida has never executed a white person for murdering a black person, even in a racially motivated murder no less. .
