In the books they barely remember the other exists. Plus, Sansa's grandparents were first cousins, as were Tyrion's parents, and no one batted an eye. So this makes me happy, it shows that the show isn't spoiling all this stuff for the book readers. We all had a good grasp on his his mother and father were back in the first book thanks to Ned's POV, so that isn't a spoiler. His name would be a spoiler, so they changed it. At least I hope that's what is going on.
