EDIT: So I looked up the character history, and the character is mixed white and asian. His father was a Vietnam vet and his mother was an assassin. So being part white is actually accurate for the character. Here's what he looks like:

Because most of the times white characters are white because it's the default race to be. So their race generally isn't notable or relevant to the character.
